Happy Easter!

This is the first Easter that we've done an Easter basket for Bree and attempted an egg hunt.

I made a mistake and left the Easter basket on top of the mantle, so when we first got up this morning, Bree spotted it. I tried to make her wait until Grandma got up, but she was adamant. So I woke up Grandma and we started the Easter basket.

I am proud that I only allowed her two pieces of candy before breakfast.

After breakfast we started the egg hunt! She found them all, with a little help from Mommy & Grandma.

The Easter bunny left the eggs out in the open and tried to make it easy for Bree to find them.

All of the eggs had candy in them, which pleased Bree immensely. One of the eggs had five swedish fish in it, and I watched in amazement as she stuffed all five fish in her mouth at once.

I have some video of Bree collecting eggs, and I'll post it if I can. I've not had the best luck with getting my posts published on Blogger lately.

This last picture is Bree's "cheese" face. If you ask Bree to say "cheese" for a picture, she closes her eyes, smiles wide and says, "cheeeeeeeeeese!" It's cute, but it's tough to get a picture of her smiling WITH her eyes open.
