"Sit HERE, Mama."
"Sit DOWN, Mama."
"I STUCK." - mostly when she's in her car seat.
Scott likes to say her name in a sing-song pitch, "Breeeeeeeeeee." To which she commands, "HUSH!"
"I GO!" - when she's on her tricycle.
"I DOWN, Mommy" - when she's having her diaper changed and wants to get down.
"Allllllllll done!" - when she's finished with a meal.
We had her two year check up yesterday, and she finally hit 20 pounds!
- Weight: 20 lbs on the button
- Height: 30 3/4 inches - she's on the charts, in the 1st percentile for height!
The doctor might want to do a bone age test on Bree at some point but needs to find out what the minimum age is for the test. The bone age test will tell if she's on track for her height potential. If the bone age is lower than her physical age, then there's a chance that she might need growth hormones. If her bone age is equal to her physical age, then it's confirmation that she's on track for her growth and she's just going to be small. "Tiny But Mighty!" as her Grandma and Papa say.
All in all, she's doing just great. She would prefer that her adoring crowd* come back NOW because just having Mommy at home just isn't all that much fun for her. But she's getting back into the swing of things at daycare.
Actually, yesterday, Bree fell off something and landed on her face. Miss Jenna heard the other kids start to scream so she went to see what the fuss was about. Apparently Bree had a bloody nose but just kept on playing. She was scaring the other kids because they had no idea what whas happening to Bree - but she was totally unconcerned and wanted to keep playing. Miss Jenna had a hard time getting her to stay still so she could clean her up. Good thing that happened after her doctor's appointment . . . .
*Adoring Crowd = Daddy, Grandma & Papa
