HA! Let's be serious, this will be a blog about the baby, so everyone can keep up with HER. That's what you all really want anyway, right?
So let's get started.
Bree is seven months old and crawling everywhere. She wants to be everywhere she's not supposed to be, and ends up getting stuck under furniture. We're getting to be experts in "search and extraction" techniques. OK, don't get all up in arms - not much "searching" going on because most times we watched her get herself stuck. Bad parenting? Hopefully not so much "bad" parenting as "amused" parenting.
Bree is showing her musical side by helping her Daddy to play the guitar. We're hoping to redirect her banging tendencies into percussion techniques, because Daddy could use a drummer to accompany him. We'll see how that goes. She's figured out that the neck of the guitar vibrates when he plays, and this is heaven on her gums. Thus her intense interest in the guitar for now.
So far Bree has been a lot of fun, and she's proving to be a very bright, curious little girl. We've had three incident reports from daycare (three!): two were because one kid had their fingers in her mouth, and another one bit her, and the third was because she beaned herself in the head with a toy. Bree loves her daycare (a big relief for me) and we've had the following comments come back on her daily activity sheets:
and"Bree has been holding me hostage all day, forcing me to have conversations with her."
We changed her clothes at 1pm because she had a food fight . . . and the clothes lost.
And that will conclude the debut post for And Bree Makes Three! Stay tuned for more baby pictures, and news from the three of us.
